Aubrey is a wonderful doula. As first-time parents, my husband and I had so many questions and doubts both before and after the birth of our son. Aubrey was extremely patient and helpful and answered all of them! She guided us through the process with in-person and phone meetings. She helped us develop a birth plan and discuss our various options. She also made a gorgeous summary of our birth plan with images and icons to ease communication with nurses and doctors! Her encouraging text messages have been a true gift and helped me during the last week of pregnancy past my due date and the post-partum period.
Having Aubrey with us during L&D was also great. She helped us make informed decisions for me and my baby throughout. She supported me through my contractions and discreetly took a few pictures before and after the birth of our baby, for which we'll forever be thankful. She's been very thoughtful through the entire process: she even got us some food at 1 am after our son was born – the most delicious chicken nuggets I've had!
Aubrey is very professional but also willing to share insights from her own experience as a mother, which were really valuable. My husband and I are very grateful we've had Aubrey accompany us on this journey!

Thank you so much, Aubrey, for answering so many questions I had throughout pre and post birth. I feel so much more confident setting out as a new parent. My husband and I felt like we had a great resource from the moment we connected with Aubrey, and she was always available, even in the middle of the night during delivery when the plans suddenly changed and we went into a c-section. Having Aubrey at the hospital was key for me because I was prompted early on to let my baby take a bottle when I just needed a little support to start successfully breastfeeding. She talked me through all my worries and checked in frequently throughout my pregnancy. We went over my birth plan and how things would go in many scenarios trying to plan what you can! When my birth came it was different than my original hope but Aubrey was there and walked me through the whole process. We weighed options, changed plans, and eventually it helped lead me to a more successful birth in the end being able to have someone there to advocate for my wishes! The birth experience was beautiful and empowering! Couldn’t have asked for a better birth! Aubrey was the best!

My husband and I decided to work with Aubrey and we could not have asked for a more compassionate, sincere doula. I am a first time mom, and throughout the pregnancy, Aubrey was always checking-in and communicating with me. During the birth, she knew exactly when to offer me support, both physically and mentally. Most importantly, she was an expert at knowing when to allow my husband to be the one to support me, and how to provide relief to both him and I. After the birth, Aubrey also picked up some much needed food for my husband and I in the middle of the night, before leaving the birthing center. Aubrey was an absolutely instrumental addition to my birth team! We hired her very early on and she supported us every step of the way. She was always reaching out and always guiding us and answering any questions we had! During my birth she was constantly physically and mentally supporting me. Reminding me of my strength and power to bring my baby earth side. She supported my husband in supporting me and never over stepped any boundaries when it came to letting him be the leader. I truly mean it when I say I could not have done it without her.
We also hired her to encapsulate my placenta, which was done in my home and was so amazing to witness! She did our birth course as well and it was so helpful in learning how to manage all that comes with labor and postpartum. She has continuously checked in on me postpartum and made sure I am doing okay. I am so thankful for Aubrey and all she did for my family.

I’m a firm believer that people come into your life right when you need them. For us, Aubrey was one of those people. I have anxiety and after IVF and miscarriage, I knew I wanted a birth and postpartum doula to help us along our journey. From the moment we met Aubrey, we knew we were in expert, caring hands. She has been so supportive throughout our entire pregnancy experience and was such an integral part of the healthy and happy birth of our son at Joyful Beginnings Birthing Center.
After our initial consult, we met with Aubrey twice in-home for pre-labor planning and support meetings. When I went into labor, Aubrey's guidance was integral to our success (particularly in knowing when it was time to head to the birthing center!). Once there, Aubrey provided emotional support for my partner and I, ideas for comfort measures, snapped photos of the process, and made sure all my birth plan wishes were being advocated for and met in the moment by myself and the staff.
About 24h and then again 48h after the birth, Aubrey came to our home to encapsulate my placenta (and create an amazing herbal salve and beautiful art print). She checked in on us and offered some much needed emotional support during that time.
Aubrey is so kind, naturally caring, and such a fierce advocate for her clients. Through her passion and guidance, my partner and I really learned about our own strengths and desires when it came to a natural, physiologic birthing process. We are so grateful, thank you Aubrey!

Aubrey was my doula for our hospital birth with our first baby. I cannot recommend her enough. Leading up to the birth she was soo helpful and responsive providing resources, recommendations, and evidence to help us make decisions about our birth plan. During labor she was invaluable to my husband and I- emotionally and physically, she has a calming presence and demonstrates a wealth of knowledge and techniques. Our birth story is not how we wanted things to turn out which made us even more grateful to have Aubrey’s support throughout.

My experience with Aubrey as my doula has been absolutely invaluable and I am so incredibly grateful to her for everything she has helped me with throughout pregnancy and during my long labor. Even my fiancé who was skeptical about the idea of a doula is so thankful for her and all of her help prior to and during our birth experience! She was there for us through every step of the way since we met her at our first prenatal appointment, easing my anxieties about motherhood, the experience of labor, post-partum, you name it! My labor was 23 hours and she was with me the entire time, advocating for me in the hospital and encouraging me to advocate for myself and what I wanted for my birth experience as a mom. When my experience didn’t go exactly as I planned, Aubrey reminded me of how strong I was and that there was nothing to regret about the way my labor was panning out. She even helped my fiancé and I truly bond and brought us closer during the birthing of our first baby boy. I will always look back on my whole experience with positive feelings because of Aubrey’s help and I truly cannot thank her enough for everything! I could go on for days but the bottom line is I HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for a kind, strong, knowledgeable, and empathetic doula!

I was super impressed with my placenta encapsulation products! I got the capsules, salve and tincture and she also included the umbilical cord dried into the word "love" with some beautiful art prints created with my placenta. The products came beautifully wrapped and presented where it felt like a luxurious gift. As a second time mom-to-be, I knew my second postpartum experience had to be different than the first. Literally the day I got my positive pregnancy test, I emailed Aubrey to talk about support options. At first, I didn’t think I’d need labor support, but after deciding on an out-of-hospital birth, I knew having her would be valuable. Not only did she help ease anxiety throughout all nine months of pregnancy (from fears about the pregnancy to fears about transitioning to two kids), but she brought a sense of confidence that I needed as I ventured into motherhood again. Aubrey is someone who will be on YOUR side and will do what you need, which is an invaluable quality, from pregnancy to labor to postpartum. My toddler also grew to love Aubrey and looked forward to all of her visits. I was so concerned with how the dynamic would shift and how my first would do with a new sibling, so having Aubrey give out some extra love and attention to my big kid was amazing. My second postpartum experience has been vastly different from my first, and without a doubt it’s because of Aubrey’s support. Her overnight oats are so good, but her heart and willingness to listen and hold space for you is truly invaluable. Because I reached out so early, I feel like I’ve known Aubrey forever! I’m not ready to do life without her, but I’m so grateful for everything she’s done for us. Thank you, Aubrey!

Aubrey was such a wonderful aid to me and my husband leading up to, and immediately following the birth of my daughter. She was very accommodating to my family's particular needs. She's extremely efficient with her time when visiting; I feel like I hardly had to ask for help because she anticipated my needs so well and was super proactive and organized about care. She took her time with us, offered compassion and companionship, as well as an unbiased and non-judgemental approach to educating me and my husband on all the new parental things. Aubrey is absolutely amazing!! My birth would have been totally different without her and her expertise. She knew exactly how to help throughout the entire labor and even went to get us Whataburger at 11 PM after the birth! My birth didn’t go exactly as I planned but Aubrey comforted me and her presence was incredibly calming! She checked in on us every day after and our postpartum visit was so helpful. As first time parents, Aubrey was the calming force for both of us and allowed us to feel validated when concerns arose. She helped us a prepare a detailed birth plan, came when labor began in earnest and set the mood (atmosphere of the delivery room) for a successful birth. Aubrey was our birth photographer & I am so grateful she was! It was a last minute decision (by last minute I mean the same week our daughter was born!) & she was on top of it all in prompt replies, answering questions, & prepping the contract. Aubrey was so caring & her presence automatically felt as if we had known her for years. There were moments where I had completely forgot she was there as she was respectful of our space & quietly took photos. Her work is hands down incredible!! She captured such authentic moments so well & listened to what I wanted. She even made a birth video that was so beautiful & powerful. She promptly had our photos ready as well. Aubrey was our birth photographer and such a special part of the day. She was an amazing resource leading up to and during the birth, offering advice and support via text and phone calls. Communication was amazing, especially on the day of, during early labor. As soon as things started ramping up, Aubrey was quickly on her way and started snapping photos immediately! By the time we were settled into our recovery room, we had a sneak peek of 25 photos!! And the next day, we had the rest of the photos! I tear up every time I look at the photos! Being able to go back and see everything again, including precious moments I missed, is absolutely incredible. Photos of my husband assisting with delivery, cutting the cord, and holding our baby for the first time are absolutely priceless. These photos will forever be some of my favorite photos, and I would hire Aubrey again in a heartbeat for future deliveries!!

Kind, passionate, smart and efficient. If you're looking for a doula with patience and a PASSION for being a doula. You found your girl! Her heart is centered for the Lord and his creations! We had such an incredible experience with her (specifically hospital birth but had her as moral support through text) because of her small help of taking a "break in labor" and doing the "tug of war" position... a vaginal birth that doctors were ready to call it quits for a c-section and told us "no breaks" the baby was delivered healthy and vaginally at 40.1.
However you decide for birth what I love about her is she does it all! I also will be using her for TTC care! So grateful for women like her.

Aubrey was such an asset to my pregnancy and labor story. Her compassion for this trade is very apparent. She has vast knowledge and tools that helped immensely in my journey. Aubrey’s experience and knowledge is worth far more than her weight in gold! From our first interaction, through the hospital stay, and our final postpartum visit; Aubrey was amazing! She cared for our family like she was a member herself. She was always easily available to contact and had a keen eye which allowed her to deliver information that we were seeking when we needed it. Throughout our several prenatal visits, she got to know us and helped tailor a birth plan that fit our needs. We gave birth only a few months after moving to San Antonio and had no family in the area and without Aubrey we would not have had the same preparedness! Aubrey is someone that will get to know your family and know what is important for your birth. I would 10 out of 10 recommend Aubrey to anyone that is looking for a doula! Aubrey is absolutely amazing! The minute I booked her I knew I made the right choice. She was so helpful with going over what to expect and ways to handle contractions with my partner. I ended up having to have a C section and I’m so glad I had her help and support. She was there for me when my husband had to go with our baby to the NICU and I don’t know what I would have done without her. She was there for me in one of the hardest few hours of my life and I’m forever grateful for that. She helped me with recovery and breastfeeding and made sure I got back to see my sweet baby boy.
